Hailing from Basildon, Essex, Rayowa are three brothers with an eclectic modern disco funk style. Their latest single is 'Remember', the second release from an upcoming EP, which is out this summer.

Their sound is clean, well-produced and it’s clear to see why they were the perfect addition to Nile Rodgers’ lineup at The Cambridge Club Festival. Rayowa’s songs are catchy, fun, and the result of an amazing mix of musical inspirations and personal heroes, such as Sister Sledge, George Michael, Gwen Guthrie, as well as many other 70s and 80s legends.

Rayowa has unsurprisingly already been recognised by the likes of Wonderland, Notion, and beloved Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, calling their song “an absolute banger”. At the time of writing, Rayowa have a stellar 42,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with their top song having over a million streams.

On the release of their latest single, 'Remember', Rayowa said:

“‘Remember’ is a song born of the pandemic and is about getting your life back on track while managing your mental health through those times. It’s about pulling yourself back from what feels like certain defeat. Witnessing the world’s collective struggle as well as experiencing our own personal ones over the last two years really inspired the track lyrically. The chorus lyrics are ‘Try to remember, you’ve got to live your life, like you remember, just got to take your time, time to remember.

The majority of the world has experienced loss in one way or another during recent times and so we want this tune to remind people that despite everything that’s happened to us all, everything will be okay if we take it slow, remember who we are and what we’ve got to give to the world. We just have to trust the process and remind ourselves that our experiences, good or bad, shape us and all lead us to where we’re supposed to go.”

To make her newest release, Marr worked with DJ Comiskie, who has been backed by fellow Scot Calvin Harris. Do You Feel Love is a dance pop song, with lyrics describing the excitement and feelings after meeting someone new, finding out that person feels the same way and both exploring the feelings behind that! The excitement behind the lyrics definitely come through in the song and is the perfect addition to your getting ready or party playlist.
