Whilst currently on tour with artist Jake Scott in the US, ROSIE releases an emotional new single to get the crowd in their feels. Earlier this year ROSIE also toured with Chelsea Cutler.

'Good For Me' is an extension to ROSIE's existing journey to recovering from heartbreak. With this single picking at heartstrings, it's a true representation of how vulnerable ROSIE is with her songwriting.

ROSIE

ROSIE explains in her own words that ‘Good For Me’ is about my journey with self-love and how it took me loving and losing someone else to see that I need to find my worth within myself. The song taught me that you can’t feel joy without feeling pain too and that love isn’t linear.”

With ROSIE already having an adoring fanbase, the New Yorker gained a huge online following over the pandemic with her singing videos reaching millions. ROSIE knew she wanted to approach difficult topics including mental health. She explains "I want to be transparent. Everything is exactly as it appears,” she says. “The scale of emotions that everyone feels is such a spectrum. The bad days are equally as important as the good days. Be strong when you're feeling strong, be vulnerable when you're feeling vulnerable.”

Joshua Idehen is one of the most exciting artists of 2022. With his poetic take and infamous blend of lo-fi-house and soul, his recently released EP 'Hold Up Your Chin' justifies his talent.

Pushing new boundaries sonically, Joshua talked us through his EP track by track so we can get a deeper understanding of the process and the individual meanings.

On the EP, Joshua says: "Ludvig and I, we made these songs throughout 2021. Like a lot of us, the journey into the new decade was a bit rough, internally and external, and I wanted to add as much joy as I could back into the fold, and I guess that meant lo-fi house and gospel choruses. I’ve been blessed to work with the absolute giants who’ve come together to make my words sound so fresh. This EP is hopefully a first of many statements.”

Don’t You Give Up On Me: "At the end of 2020 I felt I was done making sad music about my sad head: I wanted to make happy music about my sad head, or at least sad music you could bop to. I told Ludvig my plans, a week later he sent the first beat. The song wrote itself pretty much from there."

I Got You Every Step Of The Way (For Leone Ross): "Leone is an amazing writer, godmother to my daughter, and one of the best friends I’ve been privileged to have. I had friendship as a big theme with this project and this song was framed wholly around her."

What We’re Doing Tonight: "I’m forever writing the same love song, which is “a song about a relationship on a knife-edge”. This is the 1785th one. Shout-out to Katie Dove Dixon for being a legend on the bvs."

Don’t You Give Up On Me (Jordan Stephens And Lazy Habits Remix): "I tweeted at Jordan that he was someone I’d like to work with. We’d known each other for a while but hadn’t had the opportunity. Anyway, he responded in the affirmative and I took it to the DMs. James (Lazy Habits) I’ve known for ages and is one of the UK’s finest. Making this happen was a dream."

Don’t You Give Up On Me (Scrimshire Remix): "Adam is just one of those people who’s always knocked it out of the park with his production. One day we’re gonna make an EP together - just as soon as he stops faffing about with his own stuff. Until then, until then…."

Don’t You Give Up On Me (United Freedom Collective Remix): "I only found out about these guys this year and wow: their sound is just *chef’s kiss*. I love this remix a little more than a lot, you know."

Returning from her summer of success from playing Glastonbury 2022 to being heard on Love Island UK. Emilia Tarrant drops her latest visual accompaniment to her new track 'Slow Motion'.

'Slow Motion' takes a slightly more mellow approach from Emilia's previous releases. Highlighting her versatility and vulnerability this harmonic/pop soundscape creates a space for Emilia to guide us through a downturn in a relationship.

Explaining in her own words, Emilia says: “This was a song that came from a really tough and personal experience, but has turned into something super special and I believe, relatable for a lot of people. It is hard to admit to ourselves that a relationship could be near the end of the road, especially when it seems to be completely perfect, apart from one defining element. I wrote ‘Slow Motion’ about this slow deterioration, and how we ‘dance around the situation’ to ignore this feeling of complete helplessness. My favourite lyric has to be ‘we’re lying in bed, like parallel lines’; it sums up this feeling for me, of being so close to your partner, yet too far across the line to go back to the way it used to be. There’s always hope in the way we hang on though, so why hesitate to say ‘I love you’?”

The music video portrays Emilia going through several emotions. With the acceptance of an ending relationship Emilia tries to continue with life with an overwhelming feeling of hurt.

You can catch Emilia live on 21st November – 180 The Strand or 28th November – Co Headline Show (The Grace, London).
