Amisha is probably one of the youngest and most successful managers living right now. She has influenced me and so many other young people as well as older. Her success and her love for what she does shows how passionate she is at chasing what she wants.
She is CEO of her own record label who focus on artist management and development. She manages Audrey Mika and Dhruv, both singers. Audrey and Amisha both had dreams, Audrey was a singer with an amazing voice and Amisha wanted to create her own label, from the very start they both worked together to support each other. Audrey posted covers on YouTube and gradually built a huge following, but who better to manage her than her best friend Amisha. Now they tour together and witness incredible moments of success such as sold out shows and meeting people who support the music and themselves.
Being such a young manager, I have heard that she once went to an important meeting but security wouldn't let her in because they thought she was a fan, which is a very weird situation to be in! She represents to the older generations to not underestimate us, but to work with us, support us and most importantly to believe in us!
Her label is named TRST which represents the word trust and how you can't trust certain people, so the 'u' is taken out to remove 'you' from trust. Amisha created a clothing brand which was named TRST which bought the logo to life but the word was more than a clothing brand it was an ideology. The word appears in several things she has done such as her label 'TRST Records' and a song 'TRST' with Audrey Mika.
She doesn't stop there at all, no way. Amisha has recently been extremely successful in becoming a signed songwriter which is absolutely amazing so massive congratulations to her! One of her first moments of success was the release of the song 'Fake Heartbreak' with Audrey Mika. They wrote it a while back and came back to it to rewrite it, it now has over 1 million streams which is an extreme success for them both. Amisha continues to surprise everyone and works hard for what she wants with no excuse of her age being a limiting factor.
The reason I wanted to write this post was because of the power she has created for herself out of nothing. Just with the commitment, the determination, the talent and the belief in herself. She has proven to people both in the industry and outside of it, that young people have the passion and that we are not the useless generation, rather we are the generation who want to make a difference and to stand up for ourselves for what we want achieve even if it seems a million miles away. She directly inspires me as she is doing the job I have dreamed of doing which is managing artists, so seeing her achieve this now has pushed me to work harder for myself. Amisha knew she wanted to have her own label from the age of 12 but gave that up because she thought it was unrealistic, 6 years later and now look at her and she is not stopping!
