Taking their punk-rock twist to a 2000's classic from Britney Spears, Boy Bleach cover 'Toxic'. Having already built a growing name for themselves, Boy Bleach may well be the next big thing. With plenty of unique perspectives, emotion and icon behaviour in their previous releases, 'Toxic' is a gift from Boy Bleach to fans.
Speaking on this track, Boy Bleach say:
“We f******g love Britney. She’s an icon to us, very few people have impacted the world of
music the way she did. We wanted to pay our respects & ‘Toxic’ is one of those tracks that
stands firm no matter where the times take us. We’d been messing about with it for a
minute, went on tour and just winged it. The response was insane so we thought - f**k it
let’s get it recorded. It was that or ‘Everytime’ and I’m not sure we could’ve pulled that off."
This year has been a year of continuous growth, with Boy Bleach playing two sold-out headline shows at the notorious Camden Assembly this month. Early releases saw them support YUNGBLUD on his EU tour and Only The Poets.
In the summer Boy Bleach bagged a slot at this years Reading & Leeds Festival and are soon to take on Neighbourhood festival and Live At Leeds Festival before the end of the year.
