Alt-pop artist Lou Roy is here with her latest single 'U.D.I.D' ahead of her debut album out this April 29th.
Adding another significant reason to be celebrating 4/20, Lou Roy sheds light to the high side of life. Releasing another ego into her writing sessions, Lou's upcoming album will be one with no stones left unturned.
'U.D.I.D' comes in the form of layers, playing with colourful chords and pulsating with jammy beats. It disguises itself as a live-laugh-love high but dig deeper and you'll hear it has a darker side.
"I had just had a phone call with a person I love that left me heartbroken, and I confessed to myself and my dog that maybe that phone call was the final straw, maybe I do have to really say bye to them. So I got high and put on Hellraiser (for the second time that evening..idk what was going on there) and decided to try on what it would be like to really just give up on them." - Lou Roy
Proving she has what it takes, Lou Roy has already been noted by Jack Saunders’ on BBC Radio 1 Future Artists. Whilst also supporting globally known MUNA on five dates of their US tour after receiving a personal invite from the band.
'Pure Chaos' is Lou Roy's debut album releasing later this month, co-produced by Sarah Tudzin. This album gives us a clue in the name, a colourful collection of personality, mixed with humour and pure style.
