Young artist Freddie Elmberg releases his latest track 'The Bouncer'. Coming from a classically trained background, Freddie aims to be as authentic as possible in his music. 'The Bouncer' is a stunning track, leading with a piano and emotion packed vocals, Freddie knows how to give a delicate aura for this beautiful soundscape.
Freddie explains:
"The reality of the unexpectedness of being a bouncer. The sadness you see in the
faces of random people. I can’t bring your boyfriend back to rescue you from
swimming in your drunk tears. But can see you safe into a night taxi.
The piano and the vocal take the forefront of it all. With subtle, powerful production,
the whole song is lifted by the bass synths and production nuances."
The music video brings to life the single. Filmed in America, Freddie creates a visual narrative. The desert aesthetic fits the theme of 'feeling empty', rotating between stunning shots and a doorway to other worlds. A strong concept to connect the song to its visual style.
Freddie describes the music video:
"Within the video the doors that appear are random, each leading to a different
place. Much like the randomness of being a bouncer and what’s going to ‘lie behind
one door may not lie behind the other’. For the location we chose, it was within a
remote setting. The remoteness shares a similar feeling of being on your own in the
cold working the doors. In its entirety this video is an artistic metaphor of loneliness and the unknown.”
Freddie Elmberg is set to release a debut project later this year.
