Cade Hoppe returns with a new single to wrap us all up in our feels for winter. Co-producing this track with frequent collaborator Harper James (Eighty Ninety, James Bay, Aaron Taos), 'Past Time' is already stuck in my head. Having only entered the booming music scene in early 2021 with his debut EP, Cade has been continuously releasing new tracks to add to his discography.
'Past Time' enters with simplistic but stunning set of keys before heightening to a percussion of instruments. Speaking on the track, Cade Hoppe explains;
“‘Past Time’ is about relationship nostalgia and the selective memory that comes with it—in this case, not only are you positively selective in your memory, but you’re really hoping your ex is not being negatively selective".
