With a nod from Sir Paul McCartney, singer-songwriter Astles brings his new intimate single 'Somebody's Father, Somebody's Son.'
Written on a piano at his mum's house, Astles brings a new sense of emotion and connection with this single. Packed with rich layers, a sense of optimism and colours of a personal relationship. Astles mentions the times when feeling disconnected within his family is a healthy reminder of the love around.
Astles says:
“When I feel disconnected from the world and my loved ones, it’s a nice reminder to have these ties to people because they are real and they mean a lot.
“I think [this track] tries to deal with very normal and often quite sad feelings, but in a glorious and hopeful way.”
